I love all forms of crab but my favorite has got to be anything crab AND creamy! This creamy crab dip just melts in your mouth and is full of delicious flavors that warms your heart! Ever since I tasted the crab dip at Cheesecake Factory I was determined to make a home version that would be even better. Welp, I DID IT! It isn’t a hard recipe to follow but it was hard to get just the right texture and just the right flavor! But hey, that’s why I am here, so you can enjoy the best tasting food ever! Yes Honey! Creamy Crab Dip
1lb can jumbo crab
8 oz. Havarti cheese (cubed)
8oz container mascarpone cheese
¾ cup sour cream
¾ cup mayo
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 ½ teaspoon crushed garlic
1 tablespoon country Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon sea salt
½ tablespoon ground black pepper
2 tablespoons seafood seasoning
Panko mixture (¼ cup panko crumbs mixed with ¼ cup parmesan cheese)
½ tablespoon paprika
Optional: ½ tablespoon parsley (finely chopped) garnish
READ, SET, GO:
- Preheat oven to 400
- Add mascarpone cheese, sour cream, mayo, lemon juice, crushed garlic, and mustard to a bowl, mix together, fold in crab and Havarti cheese, season with sea salt, ground black pepper, and seafood seasoning
- Spread in baking dish, top with panko crumb mixture
- Bake uncovered 25 minutes, remove from oven, sprinkle paprika over top and allow to bake additional 10 minutes
- Serve with tortilla chips or toasted baguettes – Optional: top with parsley
