HOPS and CHEDDARS restaurants serve the best honey butter croissants ever!  Well that was until I made some at home ~ WHEW!  My BFF Mindy and I used to make a trip to HOPS just for their honey butter croissants!  Then I went to CHEDDARS restaurant with my hubby and the kiddos and they had them as well; talk about heaven!  CHEDDARS makes the big ones and HOPS has the mini ones but big or small they will melt in your mouth and mesmerize you with flavor and texture!  Watch out for goose bumps because they are that good!  Certainly you’ll be addicted!  If you cannot find the frozen ones you could use the ones from your local grocery store that are already baked and then warm them just a bit in the microwave and then drizzle the honey butter!  ENJOY!

Croissants With Honey Butter Drizzle Like HOPS and CHEDDARS RESTAURANTS

INGREDIENTS:
5-6 large frozen croissants or 10-12 mini croissants (Sara Lee, Trader Joes or Williams Sonoma)
Non-stick cooking Spray
½ stick melted unsalted butter
2 ½ tbsp. honey
3 tbsp. confectionate sugar

READY, SET GO:

  1. Line baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray, bake frozen croissants using instructions on bag/box
  2. To create the honey butter sauce, in a microwave safe cup/dish melt ½ stick unsalted butter, then while the butter is hot add honey and whisk a bit and then add confectionate sugar and whisk until fully incorporated
  3. Pour Honey Butter all over fresh from the oven croissants
  4. INDULDGE & ENJOY

THOSE THINGS ARE DANGEROUS FOR US WOMEN. WHY??? YOU ASK. WELL 1 OR 2 IS NOT ENOUGH, I CAN EAT 6 BEFORE I REALIZE THAT I HAVE EATEN 6. OH!!!! MY, THEY ARE BETTER THAN GLAZED DONUTS. DELICIOUS, LIGHT AND FLUFFY, MELT IN YOUR MOUTH. THIS IS A WARNING TO EVERY BODY PART (MY THIGHS) THAT SEEMS TO JUST BLOW UP WHEN I EVEN LOOK AT FOOD. STAY AWAY FROM THEM (CROISSANTS AND HONEY BUTTER). THAT WAS MY ADVICE SO, DO NOT LISTEN TO ME, BECAUSE I DIDN’T LISTEN TO ME. ENJOY!!!! THEY ARE WORTH ALL THE BLOW UP BODY PARTS.
