** RESTAURANT REVIEW ** Local Root in Chicago, IL

OMG If I had to guess what a slice of heaven tastes like, I’d have to guess it would be neck and neck with the Brisket Sandwich from the Local Root in Chicago, IL. Their brisket sandwich was the best brisket sandwich I have ever had! It was so good I had to meet the Chef, Isaac (who was also one of the owners)! So my handsome and sweet host/server Kyle told him about me. I loved that Isaac took the time to come and talk with me about this wonderful brisket sandwich! I had to know what kind of love was put into this melt in your mouth sandwich! He told me the bread is baked daily in house by an experienced baker who used to bake up fresh breads at Whole Foods, the brisket is cooked low and slow and the pickles are house made as well as the fennel coleslaw (which includes burgundy wine – ahhh)!! I was totally blown away and so thankful to Kyle for recommending I try it. The fries also stood the test of yummy for your tummy indulgence, it was obvious they were fresh cut ~soo delicious!

Then I received my bill and thought REALLY delicious AND affordable?!?! This was a great experience! Awesome customer service, great atmosphere, incredible organic food and easy on your pocket prices!

I recommend anyone living in or visiting Chicago to go and order the Brisket from the Local Root, you will not regret it!

Emily and I ate there, too! I was able to find something Paleo to eat and it was quite good! I loved that everything was local!
