It Comes From Mozambique
Nando’s originated in South Africa, but we grow our PERi-PERi throughout Southern Africa—especially in Mozambique. Responsibility is core to our business, so we choose to empower more than 1,400 farmers by growing our own PERi-PERi across nearly 500 acres in the region.

PERi-PERi Streetcorn Salad
6 ears of corn, shucked then grilledSalt and pepper, pinch of each1/2 cup red onion, 1/4 inch dice (2 w oz)1/2 cup PERinaise, heat level of your choice1 cup cilantro, rough chop (0.5 w oz)1/2 cup cotija/feta cheese (2.5 w oz)1 red bell pepper, 1/4 inch diceSmall bunch of fresh parsleyDusting PERi-PERi rub in the heat level of your choice
Peel the husks from the corn and grill until lightly toasted. Carefully cut the corn off the cobs and place in a serving bowl.Zest the limes into the corn then mix the bell pepper, red onion and most of the cilantro.In a separate mixing bowl, whisk the lime juice, salt and pepper together. Drizzle over the corn mixture.To serve, top with crumbled cotija or feta, a generous dusting of PERi-PERi rub and the rest of the cilantro. Dig in!
